Pros

- Location - Dog-friendly - Snack bar

Cons

- Hypocritical management The company fired 5 (!!!) people on the spot during last 6 months. Those people were not given any warning... They were fired in one day with no second chance given. Keep this in mind, please. If you make a mistake or two -- no one will talk to you about it, you will be fired. The company is not interested in growing its own specialists. Unfortunately, there are no qualified mentors, just supervisors who use you while you facilitate their needs.

Tribe Management Response

Last year we went through a rebrand as a newly acquired company. We know it wasn't the easiest time for staff, as there were a lot of changes in a short period. We have engaged our staff in recent months through Values workshops and an open-door communication policy that has really helped to inspire a great working environment championed by our employees. In fact in our recent employee engagement survey, 97% of staff said they would definitely recommend Tribe to someone they knew as a place to work. While we aren't aiming to build an empire...rather a high-service boutique management company serving up community management with heart, we definitely agree with your point - you can't build an empire on bones. Which is why we are so proud that our team has doubled in size in the last year. Not only that, but we are creating roles and opportunities to encourage internal growth and challenges within Tribe. Thanks for your review!

Pros

Beer fridge in the kitchen

Cons

I had a frustrating experience due to poor management and a toxic reporting dynamic. I ended up working under someone I hadn't even interviewed with—my manager turned out to be controlling, micromanaging, and generally difficult to deal with. Expectations shifted constantly, and I was repeatedly asked to do tasks far outside my role, including things that had nothing to do with my job description. At one point, she hired someone at $50/hour to assemble furniture, then got upset when I said I wouldn’t do the same during my work hours—something that was not in my contract. It felt like she was trying to set me up to fail rather than support my success. Overall, the lack of respect for boundaries and job roles made this a toxic environment I wouldn’t recommend.
