Pros
Decent pay, medical, vacation, 401K...all OK.
Cons
If greed is your motivation in life, this place might be a perfect fit for you. Management leads with fear, make a mistake, say the wrong word, look the wrong direction take an opposing view to upper management, and your out. To complicate matters as a "Front Line Supervisor" you must be ready to deal with a Union that is among the worst in the nation...if they don't like you your out, and if management does not like you, your out. Your between the rock and the hard place in the ground. They motivate you and the union workers with fear of job loss and micro management in an economy that is hurting and jobs hard to find...but the union has lawyers to fight for them, but as a supervisor, your on your own. It's like having the KGB around, trust nobody and I mean nobody. The rumor mill is the worst I have ever experienced and your back at times has a huge X to mark the spot. Management has knee jerk reactions to situations without giving it much thought...its like a dictatorship. Your assimilate like the Borg in Star Trek.
