In maintenance if you’re an off shift you are treated extremely poorly. Very much a boys club mentality. They preach against nepotism and favoritism but it is very abundant at this company. Everything you do is tracked time wise so if i repaired a ton of machines in a shift but did it very quickly upper upper management wonders why you can get so much accomplished but people on another shift are struggling to get half as much as you accomplished in the same time frame. PM’s dont exist here operators and maintenance are both guilty of never doing their pm’s. Your direct supervisors will lie about you and to you. Very rumor mill heavy. Supervisors are not afraid to demand you break osha regulations.
