Pros

-Non-toxic Hr (TBH its very hard to find a company where the employees likes the HR and "H" is a rare catch like drop from the sky -No politics (Easy to talk to everyone including management. Everyone willing to share information if you need help) -Dressed down culture (t-shirt Jeans) -location (Central and near a few mrt stations) -Very objective (Everything got Black and White, perf evaluation, job expectations, SOPs) -The offer process is very fair as well. If they feel the job requires a degree, they will put it as requiring a degree and pay according to it. Not like those typical sme where you work 10 years same job and get 2k you apply new job, they only offer you 10% higher and tell you too bad who tell you 10 years never change job. even if the job salary range start from 3k, I can only offer u 2.2 max -TAKE NOTE OF THIS LAST POINT OK. TBH, ITS VERY RARE TO FIND A SME/STARTUP WHERE IT IS COMPLIANCE TO FULLSET OF MOM REGULATIONS. TRUEGENICS IS LIKE THE 0.01%, TOTALLY NEVER TOUCH GRAY/SENSITIVE AREAS.

Cons

I am someone who advocates on SOP and structured (before I join here and based on my past un-fruitful HR experience) but I realised when I join here, it is a little "too structured" for me The sop, let's say each task, some might have a lot of steps to follow and if you never follow or waiver a bit off from it = non-adherence to SOP Take note this is based on my past experience as a HR where there is non-compliance to MOM and no sop etc. So for most people, this is considered still okay. Not structured in a sense that it is like govt agency where you become robot. This is a "con" because of my past experience. If not for my past experience, this would not be a con so take note all! Having said that, I think when we land on either spectrum (totally no structured vs too structured, might not be a good thing. Somewhere in the middle, leaning towards being structured is fine)

Delighted to read your review and glad you had a good learning experience over here at Truegenics. We strive for business excellence and have constantly added SOPs and policies in place to run our operations in a more seamless manner. Striking that balance between too much red tape and efficiency is definitely something that we constantly seek to improve on. Alvin Huang CEO

Pros

Leadership is fair, transparent, and genuinely supportive. Even while managing remotely from the U.S., I always felt trusted, included, and part of the bigger mission. The team is talented, collaborative, and refreshingly drama free. Everyone works hard, communicates openly, and takes pride in delivering results. It’s a fast-paced, growth-focused environment that encourages new ideas and rewards initiative.

Cons

Work-life balance could sometimes be challenging due to cross-time-zone meetings, but the team’s commitment made it manageable. The company moves quickly, so career paths are largely self-directed, which suits independent, proactive people.

Pros

Truegenics is a standout employer. The best parts are: Growth Beyond Your Job Title: They don't just develop you in your role; they give you the space and support to build crucial soft skills for your long-term career. Psychological Safety: You are trusted and empowered to try new things and even make mistakes, which accelerates learning and innovation. Solution-Oriented Team: My colleagues were some of the most proactive and supportive people I've worked with. The focus is always on moving forward together. People-First Policies: The culture is genuinely human-centered. The benefits, policies, and management style all reflect a deep respect for employees' well-being. Commitment to the Future: The company invests heavily in both modern technology and, most importantly, its people.

Cons

After a period of immense learning, I felt I had reached the ceiling for my personal and professional growth within my role at the company. It was a natural endpoint to a very positive chapter.
