I am someone who advocates on SOP and structured (before I join here and based on my past un-fruitful HR experience) but I realised when I join here, it is a little "too structured" for me
The sop, let's say each task, some might have a lot of steps to follow and if you never follow or waiver a bit off from it = non-adherence to SOP
Take note this is based on my past experience as a HR where there is non-compliance to MOM and no sop etc. So for most people, this is considered still okay. Not structured in a sense that it is like govt agency where you become robot.
This is a "con" because of my past experience. If not for my past experience, this would not be a con so take note all!
Having said that, I think when we land on either spectrum (totally no structured vs too structured, might not be a good thing. Somewhere in the middle, leaning towards being structured is fine)
