Pros
- The office is well maintained and well furnished, easy to get to.
- Rules are made clear and easy to follow.
- Every now and then management will arrange an event for employees.
- Long time employees are given access to training.
- There is a fridge you can take a drink from once a week on a Friday and there is a "Recognition of Excellence" reward handed out every 3 months which is a £50 Amazon gift card, neither are very substantial but better than nothing.
Cons
- Very strict, the business is effectively run like a warehouse, you will constantly be monitored to make sure you are working and your breaks are timed, even surveillance cameras are set up to make sure you are working.
- No flexibility with hours of work or location.
- Senior management is inexperienced and incompetent, none of them have any experience in senior management outside of the company.
- Employee turnover is very high, there are constantly employees leaving.
- Salaries are well below the industry standard.
- You do not really feel valued at all, outside of the events that happen once or twice a year, you are never asked for your opinion and if you give it, it will be ignored.
- Terrible appraisal process, management put no effort into annual appraisals and it only really exists as a means to make you feel as if you do not deserve a pay rise.
- Very cheap , the hardware is very far below the average for what most IT companies will provide.
- As few holidays are given out as legally required.
- Employees are often made to come in even if sick, resulting in there almost always being a cough going around the office.
