Pros

It's a workplace so if you're absolutely desperate it is a place to work. There is also an employee discount but this can be found at any other dispensary so it isn't much of an incentive for the insultingly low pay and terrible benefits.

Cons

They underpay, they understaff, they over work emoyees, they don't appreciate their employees, the benefits are terrible. I worked in HR for this company for 4 years it is the companies business plan and policy to underpay,, under staff and over work employees with the belief that they should be so excited about working in the cannabis industry that they should except whatever low pay and heavy workload they are given. This may have been reasonable when they were the only gig in town in 2016 but at this point every other cannabis dispensary in Florida pays more and operates better. You would be better off going to literally other dispensary to seek work. I quit myself when I attempted to take my first vacation in four years and returned to have my supervisor try to write me up for an error she made while I was gone in order to keep herself out of trouble. When I provided email documentation showing that she was lying I was not written up but I did decide to quit. I quit with that last straw but this behavior was indicative of every manager I ever dealt with within the business. All of them had been hired either as an act of nepotism or because the salaries were so low that they could not get anyone else but everyone at the top of the company is unqualified for their positions for one of these two reasons. I have two master's degrees and 20 years of experience in HR and I was being paid 37k per year for a position that normally pays a minimum of 60k. I started working for the company while I was still in graduate school so initially I didn't mind the lowered pay because the employee offset this for me while I was in school. However after graduation I was promoted and given more work but my salary was never increased despite months of promises that it would be. Finally during the pandemic, feeling very burnt-out overworked and taken advantage of I decided to take a week of the two months of vacation time I'd saved up over the course of 4 years only to have a newly hired friend of the head of HR try to put a mark on my unblemished HR file due to a mistake she herself made. I applied for and got a new job within two weeks that paid 120k because I have both a master's in business and data science making me far more qualified then the woman trying to get me written up. Regardless of your education level or work experience I can pretty much guarantee you that your value is much higher then what they will offer you in pay for the workload you will be expected to handle. If you need a job immediately for legal or custody reasons or something it might be worth working for this business while you seek another job but that's about the only time working here would be worth your time and effort. And please keep in mind that this is coming from someone who worked in the HR department so I've seen every bit of the sausage being made. In addition, there was a lot of racism, sexism, nepotism and cronieism among upper management that kept diverse and qualified employees from moving up even if they were the best candidate for a position.

Pros

Market Pay, Could be a winning company with changes in culture

Cons

Direct and immediate change in culture. Time was completely wasted, lack of human empathy and respect shown by interviewers, and the truth is that the company is bleeding market share, crashing their own prices, despite product quality increasing and retail locations increasing. Why? Because everything about this company is regulation. Which honestly I am not even mad at, provided that they would use that advantage to create meaningful and powerful brands, services, and products. Instead they use the advantage to sell boof to Florida retired custies on bogo. Theres room for everyone, but if thats your model, don't walk around with such a big ego. Eventually you do it to the wrong person and they decide to let you know.

Pros

Health Benefits, learning about Cannabis

Cons

Work life balance, took salary away from most management dropped hourly pay. Consistently increasing expectations so store management isn't able to achieve bonuses. Inexperienced AG's that are on power trips, communications horrible. Teams is not a primary form of communication and ask for a thumbs up that you read it. Lower then GM apparently expected to read minds and get task completed. I could literally go on for days.
