Pros
-Working on industry-defining problem. Turning security into a competitive advantage is good for everyone in the ecosystem. -Make an immediate impact on a small team. Plus, lots of opportunity for autonomy. -Emphasis on self-awareness and work-life sustainability. I'm especially prone to burnout, and Trustpage leaders really drive values and practices that keep my work-life healthy. -Fun perks: regular team on sites, stipends for wellness/internet, virtual events, Dashpass+Friday Lunches, etc. -High emotional intelligence across the team, leading to healthy and fun relationships at work. -Leadership is very open to ideas about improving company practices and culture. They've adapted several of my ideas already.
Cons
-Lots of autonomy can be a bit isolating if you are inexperienced or haven't handled that scenario before. Being fully-remote can also contribute to that. -Strategy is being built and adjusted as we go. This list is comprised of things I consider to be typical early stage startup challenges.
