Pros
Projects are very academic and highly interesting with blue chip clients. You'll work with some very clever people, and produce high quality deliverables. Recent changes in senior leadership means more processes are being introduced into daily running of the agency.
Cons
The work environment here is draining. High staff turnover, stress and burnout is commonplace among employees, who don't last longer than 18 months due to the lack of support from senior leadership. It is especially acute for junior employees who are given little training and support, leading to low retention rates. They also face intense pressure from some factions of senior management, who improperly use their power to pressure them into staying late with no overtime or TOIL. Structure is top heavy, meaning juniors also face being overloaded with grunt work, with little scope for development and progression. In-fighting between employees and senior leadership is commonplace and significantly impacts the culture and atmosphere. Overall it's an atmosphere of high stress, dysfunction and toxicity that is going to take a lot of time and accountability to address.
