Pros

Working alone in your showroom.

Cons

Lack of Training-Training was just being redeveloped and launched at the end of 2022. Churn and Burn thru the sales team and love bomb new SDC's and ask for indeed and Glass Door Reviews in every meeting (weekly sales meetings, national calls, etc). Skeleton Factories with management that does not work weekends or past 4pm when you do. You do not get holidays off, worked every holiday listed as paid in the handbook and job advert and not able to float these days either. You will be transferred all the leads from last SDC and it will interfere with your KPIs. One KPI is getting a google review when you close the sale. Who in their right mind reviews a product, even if the sales process was awesome, prior to receiving; would you? Social Selling on your personal SM pages, which is against marketplace guidelines as you are representing the sale as being from a person to another person. Adding additional SDC's to stores that can in no way support it while some SDC's are covering retail sales in multiple states and for locations that they do not have anyone. There is no work life balance if you are to be successful in KPI goals. Change bonus and raise structures without notice. Change store hours without notice. A lot of the locations are in industrial centers where they bought out the lease and are not safe. SDC's keep doors locked etc... They will love bomb you. These positive reviews by current employees are because it's drilled into us in every meeting and they are highlighted. Management is replacing higher paid SDC's with ones they can pay less per hour and are not near bonusing out. The factory will not deal with unhappy customers and as an SDC don't expect to be part of the factory team who makes money off of you producing contracts. Were very much out of CPI Compliance until 2022, nowhere on the contract did the customer acknowledge their card would be automatically charged (that is a compliance issue). Not having our contractors license and business license number on the contract oh and not wanting us to give it out either even though it's public record. Drink the kool aid because if you speak up the first mistake you make will get you terminated not any additional training.

Thank you for your review. The time for effective and meaningful change needs to happen while in the role. In fact, you were in the role for 3-4 years. This is why we're quite surprised by your assessment received after your Tuff Shed departure. However, we still welcome a conversation to better understand the circumstances behind the discourse. We invite further discussion to benefit the team members who demonstrate a commitment, embrace challenge, and understand the true meaning of collaboration and communication.

Pros

- Easy product to sell - Competition truly does not compete with quality - Employee owned company (ESOP is earned every year, it’s free money) - True sense of purpose. It’s a job where you don’t realize how much of an impact you’re making until you realize EVERYONE has a shed - Pay is good, you can make more than you would think. - Atmosphere is great, management is easily accessible and can help answer questions. Getting information isn’t a problem.

Cons

Stores are open 7 days a week, your schedule will fluctuate and weekends is a must. Great for your wallet, bad if you like having a standard Monday - Friday.
