Pros
Full disclosure: I worked with the founders for 4 years at their last company (Second Measure, acq by Bloomberg), so it was an easy decision when they asked me to join them at Turnstile. The thought put into all aspects of building this company is incredible, from the business itself to the inclusive (and low ego) culture that we are carefully curating. The team is bright and mature (but still fun). Everyone is passionate about the cause, we're solving challenging problems, and I love seeing the collaboration that unfolds on a daily basis. We have benefits well beyond typical for our stage: competitive salaries and fair/equal pay by level, comprehensive health benefits for employees AND their families, 401(k) with match, and a 4-day core schedule (no meetings or interviews on Fridays, folks can use that day however they wish: hiking, personal projects, focused work, family time, etc). We're still in the early building stage here, but the team we've assembled so far is incredible, we're receiving positive validation on our product, and I'm excited to be along for the journey.
Cons
The hiring bar here is incredibly high which makes scaling rapidly a challenge, but that is intentional as we know it will have long-term positive effects on the team and culture.
