Pros
- Opportunities for Growth - Autonomy - Company Outlook I've been at Turo for several years now and it's one of the best environments I've had the pleasure of working in. Leadership is incredibly transparent about what's happening and open to feedback. The work product is obviously important, but leadership also values how you treat and work with your colleagues. Those soft skills are incredibly valuable because they are indicative of how you represent the company externally. At Turo, YOU are responsible for your career trajectory. The opportunities are plentiful, but it is up to you to take on those challenges.
Cons
- Tough industry Breaking into the monopoly that is the traditional car rental market has been a winding road of peaks and valleys. On one hand, you appreciate the ability to pivot and make things right, but unless you're fully bought in, the valleys can shake your confidence. Ultimately, the transparency with which leadership operates allows you to make your own judgement and decide what's best for your career.
