My direct manager was great but recently quit and now realizing that we were shielded from a lot of the craziness from upper management. Our department is basically blamed for everything while engineers in India are held to no standards at all. We are a small department and the Director over our department doesn’t have any experience and basically promoted because they are part of the good ol’ boys club and will throw anyone under the bus to save himself. It seems like there are a bunch of salesman running the company who play business traveler all day to boost their egos rather than focusing on growing employees or the company.
