Pros
If you're able to claim classes (no guarantees of being successful at that), you can claim individual classes without having to commit to ongoing work, and you get paid every week.
Cons
The lessons are teacher-centered, where the teacher does a lot of the talking. If students don't show -- which often happens -- you have to "teach" to an empty classroom. You need to prepare extra materials for each class because if there are no students, you'll finish the lesson early, and you need to keep "teaching." And the after-class questionnaire feels like another make-work project.
