Great place to start and learn processes, as well as how to deal with people. Flexibility on transferring departments.

Not much opportunity for growth, it totally depends on the area you're working and the available positions. Not a lot of benefits.

Great place, though it depends on where you work . The place is not too huge to get lost and not too small to not move around. There are well functioning Mensas and libraries and has other cheaper eating options for students. It is well connected and faculties hold regular seminars that helps in growth and netoworking.

Some basic facilities like maternity care/room for feeding, are missing. Also, I have not heard of a postdoc committee or even a student committee that helps staff or students.
