- Never boring, there’s always something work to be done - Work can be challenging but very rewarding whenever you see the end product - This job makes you think and problem solve which helps in all aspects of life - I am pretty well traveled through the Navy - Being in the military can be a good “stepping stone” or be an amazing career depending on the platform(s) you work in

- Deployments are challenging in a way where you never thought you’d overcome the adversities of being away from home - Life in the Navy can be very fast paced which can alter your work / life balance - Many physical and mental stressors - Bad leadership can make or break your outlook on your career
