Serving your country can be one of the greatest opportunities, but don't do it for the money or the benefits. If thats what motivates you then its not for you.
Cons
Many things will surprise you both for the good and the bad, I lost friends, my personal life nearly dissolved, and i went through many other trials, but it was worth it.
