The boss is not an honest person. He doesn't see employees as human. He always says how well he has treated his employees during big meetings but during normal business hours, his body language and verbal communications show that he not only doesn't care his employees but even worse, he disregards that he is sabotaging people's families' financial health and their legal rights for staying in the country. He lied about the company's financial situation. He told employees that the company would receive funding very soon, from which the employees would benefit. However, those funding never come, and he has missed employees 3 - 4 months salaries already. He regularly tells people something like "I can pay you next week or in a few weeks", but after MONTHS have passed by, employees still haven't got paid.
He brags about his background and connections, but if you search his Chinese name on the internet, you will see news about him being sued. You can just tell how bad of a person he is. His former logistics company, Meitao Express Mail, had one of the worse reputations on the internet. He was obnoxious for being rude to his customers.
He disrespects contract he signed. Although he has promised employees benefits with legal documentation, he has never fulfilled his promises and worse for some promises, employees have never seen any legal documentation.
The company doesn't seem to have a direction of what they want to do. They lack the expertise for their two main projects: E-commerce and Blockchain, so lots of money was wasted.
