Pros
Decent starting pay, especially for teachers with no experience.
Cons
The amount of work you are given a day is well over 10 hours. When I spoke with management about this, they gaslighted me into thinking that it was possible to finish all prep work, grading, etc. in the 9 hours you're in the building. After filling my entire schedule up with tasks like "15-minute break: grade assignments," I asked: so when do I eat lunch? Answer: you don't. You are also not at all taught how to teach, or given a say in what you do in the classroom. You are given a daily script to deliver that you are expected to memorize, and meetings with leadership are frequent and entirely revolved around behavior management tactics with the students that are... problematic, to say the least.
