Pros
There used to be a positive a vibrant culture that ensured people wanted to stay. The work ethos was strong and everyone, including senior management, had to pull their weight.
Cons
No strong leadership and a high tolerance for substandard output. What remains is a carcass of people riding the glory of a once great company. Promotions are based on pure loyalty and not achievement. The last one standing gets the promotion, so there is a new wave of underachieving managers trying to steer a sinking ship.
