Pros
I've been so impressed with the team here at Unit. They've done a great job hiring their first 60 employees where they are all smart, talented, and also kind. It's a fast moving culture like many start ups but they are so intentional with their culture and actually live their values which is refreshing. All too often companies will boast these altruistic values just to be let down when you realize profits matter than people. Itai and Doron, co-founders, built a successful fintech business together (Leverate) for 8+ years prior to Unit. They know what they're doing and are very intentional with the company's growth and hyper focused on the culture. They are very early in their journey but I'm excited about the future because what they're doing will have a lasting positive impact in making full suite banking products accessible to the masses. I'd read through their culture and values document and see if it resonates with you. If it draws you in, you're going to love working here. If some of it doesn't ring true for you, it may not be the right place for you. They are transparent about how they operate so use that as your barometer.
Cons
There is a lot of work to do so you need to come in with a builder mentality. If the process/resources/policy doesn't exist, be ready to build it and pave the way for the next 500 people.
