Pros
I really don't know that there are any...I guess the office building comes stocked with free coffee and on Fridays there are doughnuts and bagels
Cons
-Full time job with no base salary
-No sick days, vacations days, etc.
-Mandatory un-paid meetings/"training sessions" every week that are repetitive and condescending in nature
-No opportunity for growth
-Little to no transparency about where the company is headed
-No health insurance or any benefits at all
-Zero assistance or training in obtaining your license. You would think the mandatory hour and half long training sessions once a week would be a good place to do this, but instead they focus on the power of positive thinking to achieve your goals
-You are expected to make at least 1,500 calls a week
-Extremely sexist and misogynistic work environment. Very inappropriate comments are made by both your co-workers and upper management, so there is a "boy's club" culture with no recourse in which to express any grievances
-Little guarantee that any of your deals will close
-The job description you applied for is likely not the one you will be doing. Therefore, no honesty about what your actual position entails
