Literally nothing else. The company is an absolute mess. It’s all run through a WhatsApp group. Most Managers don’t live in NYC and have no idea about what goes on. You’re forced to solicit 5 star reviews from customers in order to get decent hours. Training doesn’t properly prepare you for all the stress that comes with leading groups of 15+ tourists on dangerous NYC streets on bikes. Tour scripts are incomplete making it difficult to learn all 3 tours. Upper Management truly could not care any less about the tour guides or bike handlers. There are frequent pileups of tourists on the sidewalk, causing frustration and friction among locals. Management will book 60+ people for the same exact tour, causing immense confusion and stress and late start times constantly, and refuses to change the way they coordinate groups. Some days, English speaking guides are set up with groups who don’t speak English, causing even more confusion.
