-The manager is absent, unwilling to assist, unsupportive, favors certain staff members, is manipulative, and does not follow through. I was offered a promotion due to all of my hard work, she claimed she filed the paperwork but actually did not and had me doing more work in this “new” position without actually having the benefits. When confronted I was lied to and gaslit, which lead me to leave.
-Customers were allowed to treat staff poorly with no consequences
-Drama and disrespect among staff members
-Many days were so busy I would not be able to have my lunch or a break, management would not work with us to ensure we had breaks
-Training was terrible, told to do corporate online training on my off hours
-Turnover rate was enormous
-Staff meetings often a free for all. A paper is put up for all staff to write their complaints and then at the meeting they are given the floor to vent which often led to drama and management not really doing anything to fix the issue. Many times it was staff just wanting to make other staff look unfavorable
-Most of the issues are due to having poor management
