Pros
Big clients, talented creatives, supportive peers, fun office activities (if you can actually make time for them)
Cons
A very damaging work/life balance and lack of any real care for its colleagues mental health. Very normal to work until 10pm-11pm most evenings, join meetings over weekends etc. And sadly, as a consequence its very normal for employees to be signed off work due to stress (myself included). Despite the kind words you might receive from your peers or manager when this happens, it doesn't change the way VCCP manages its resource and employee workload upon you returning to work. At the time of me handing in my notice, resource was so tight across the board from permanent and freelance colleagues fleeing (apparently VCCP made such a name for itself among freelance producers that no one would come work for them) - I wasn't sure how on earth it was going to stay afloat. Couldn't be more happier at my decision to finally leave, I didn't know there were jobs out there that actually allowed you to clock off at 6pm.
