Pros
None as of date! Only one I can think of is training and knowledge about AdTech.. they have good training process and if you are new in industry, this is a good place to come and learn about basics of AdTech.. but after your first year - RUN!!! This training process was good till I was there but given the magnificent changes done by CEO - they might take it away too!
Cons
Well a little bit of everything - Culture -- it used to be good, back in the days but given what is happening these days, things like -- favouritism by management, lay offs, discrimination between US/Indian AMs in terms of assigning them projects -- are marking a VERY big cultural shift in VDX.tv Payout -- Nada! They pay peanuts! They MIGHT give you something in the first year given your base salary is low but yoy growth is NIL. Additionally, over the last 2 years they have been giving 0 incrementals. There can be efforts to reduce cost in international trips and pay that to employees - but the CEO does not understand that. Career and Knowledge growth -- Zero!! Like i said, good place to learn basics! But post that no growth.. they only do cyclic promotions, doesn't matter if you work hard or not!! And once you learn their company workflows, there is mo growth or learning beyond that.. they use all internal tools which are not relevant in the market, so it kind of hampers your industry tools learnings. Job Security/ Revenue/ Management -- Zero!! You can loose your job in a blink of an eye no reasons whatsoever. 100 (30% of workforce) people were wiped off over night. And it was pretty evident that the leaders have kept people who flatter them . All hardworking people, people who asked questions, people who were newly hired were kicked out of the company. People who were submissive, quiet and worshipped the management are kept inside the company to make the leadership feel like GOD! THE CEO is definitely a product person, very technical and knowledge but not great as a leader and has 0 business acumen. He does not know how to increase revenue, just keeps changing things internally to keep things busy.. the leadership and the CEO in the anticipation of revenue kept hiring people in the last couple of years and when they didn't see it coming and obviously the company became over employed, they wiped off the workforce overnight.
