Management is the biggest problem in vhb. Lots of blaming going on although they say they're not blaming anybody but that's not true at all. Even if the project manager is out for extended period of time and you shoulder the tasks, they still blame you for imperfections as if they're perfect themselves!! The work environment is tense and co-worker relations are tense too because of all the pressure from the management. The director said they were desperate for people but their toxic management style (both directors and project managers) causes the employees to leave vhb constantly. They think vhb is a high quality company but I've seen construction plans with so many mistakes, typos, missed info, etc and clients are always complaining. They think they have the best compensation and benefits but that's absolutely not true either. Compensation/benefits in vhb is average for the industry. If you're thinking about joining vhb, think again and again. There are much better companies out there. Just be a little patient.
