Pros

People & Culture team are great and helpful for preparing for interview process.

Cons

Valiant Finance presents itself as a vibrant workplace, but the reality is far from the facade. The company lacks proper training procedures, throwing employees into the deep end without adequate support. This lack of guidance is compounded by the expectation to work unreasonably long hours, disrupting work-life balance and causing burnout among staff. Valiant Finance sets unattainable targets for new starters, creating a high-pressure environment that fosters stress and anxiety. The management at the company is ineffective, failing to address employee concerns and provide the necessary leadership to cultivate a healthy work atmosphere. One of the most concerning aspects is the company's tendency to recruit young, inexperienced individuals who are easily misled by the false image of a fun and exciting workplace. These newcomers, unaware of the toxic environment, quickly find themselves trapped in a cycle of unrealistic expectations and poor management practices.

Pros

Excellent reputation in the industry, Known as the top brokerage in the commercial space. Great leadership, very knowledgeable and experienced. Always investing time to provide training for us to become a better broker. Team manager is always supportive and knows how we all operate differently. Always coming up with new ways to help us becoming more successful in our role. Top-notch technology for a brokerage, thanks to the tech team doing all the heavy lifting. Awesome culture and vibes, always internal and external social events. Countless of incentives for hitting your individual and team KPIs. Always recognition for your hard work and rewarded for your consistency. If you are a grafter and believes hard work pays off, this is the place to be. If not, then I guess this is not for you.

Cons

Standard trading hours but could be long nights for those that don't check the time and wants to win. Could feel intense or stressful for those that are not self-efficient and prepared. Not the place to be if you prefer to live for the weekends and pay cheque after pay cheque. Plenty of daily interactions with clients and lenders, Not the place to be if you don't enjoy having a rapport and building relationships. Pay is only limited if you believe your potential is limited.

Pros

- Lots and lots of training, starting with 2 weeks intense onboarding help when you don't have background in finance. On going training every fortnight to attend. - Everyone in your team helps you on a daily basis, so that everyone is achieving targets. - Targets are achievable, like an sales role you need to put in the work and hours but once you make it, it's very worth it - Very social, everyone is really nice and friendly always event on.

Cons

- Work hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm, an hour longer than I'm used to but very worth it once you start making comms
