Pros

Upscale restaurant with top tier clientele and great management. Management was very team-oriented and never felt I had to do anything outside of my job description.

Cons

Sometimes had a lack of flexibility with scheduling, but that's do to management not wanting to overstaff and ultimately helping with total compensation as income is heavily dependent on tips.

Cons

I can only speak for Hudson House out of the concepts. This is by far the worst job I have ever had. They do not care about customers, they would rather keep their dishes "instagrammable" then make their customers happy. This effects tips for servers tremendously. They only give servers 3 table sections even though the restaurant is very small. They also get mad at you for talking to your customers too much. They would rather you act like a robot. They have their expo line on the outside of the kitchen and expect servers to garnish the food for customers if no one else is around to do it. I've seen many serves touch the garnishes with dirty hands. Everything about this place is weird. It is also hard to make money considering the things I have mentioned. The also expect you to work multiple doubles a week.
