Pros
I am grateful I was given a chance with no prior experience. Once fully trained, they were fairly hands-off and allowed me to work mostly independently. The holidays were always fun.
Cons
Lack of communication and requiring OT were the biggest cons. It was extremely busy the 3 years I worked there. Everyone was overwhelmed, burnt out, and a lot of mistakes were made. After the pandemic was over in 2022, my manager lied to me and said I needed to come in for training. In reality, I was expected to be in office from then on and only found out after confronting her about it. Marisol Diaz is extremely unprofessional. I understand she's been working with VPT for a long time, but the yelling, cursing, and terrible attitude should not be tolerated and she should definitely not be in a leadership position. Laying off 80% of your company after "the best couple of years in all of VPT history" is ridiculous.
