Pros
Pay, possibly remote/hybrid roles, the technology and pipeline are ok, standard biotech culture where you're encouraged to do it in the name of patients & profits, snacks and lunches. The CEO and execs seem to be trying to avoid the typical layoffs more common in the industry these days.
Cons
Moving too fast, communication between everyone is fine but not efficient or definitive. Being a "start up" it's mostly driven by development and academic personel, lack of presence and thoughtfulness from leadership. Systems are falling behind, non existent or not efficient, and workloads increase as a result. The industry has been in a tough spot and pushing to a finish line is the only goal, more "do this" than consturctive conversations and teaching from leadership. Cliques/who you know environment. .
