Cons
This was one of the most unprofessional and toxic environments I have ever worked in. I was misled during the hiring process and told I would be joining a larger team with structure and support. In reality, there were only two full-time employees, and the work culture was chaotic and manipulative. There is no true leadership or accountability. One of the full-time employees regularly mistreats others, creating a passive aggressive environment that makes collaboration incredibly difficult. What made it worse was the president of the company, who would loudly burp in the office throughout the day—often ten or more times—while still insisting on professionalism from employees. The disconnect between expectations and actual behavior was staggering. I left a great agency for this role and quickly realized it was a mistake. After talking to industry professionals and others who had worked there before, I learned that multiple people have left the agency within a short period of time, which says a lot.
