Pros
I had an awesome experience serving Velocity Transport as a Customer Sales Representative. This company is second to none in fostering a comfortable company culture where mature employees are able to work diligently yet at their own pace and enjoy their colleagues along the way. I truly enjoyed going to work everyday and the work environment. Velocity Transport also has a stellar management team that gives careful consideration to the concerns of their staff. For instance, the sales teams expressed their views on the compensation plan and it was not long before the commission structure was revised to benefit the employees in a way that allows them to see an increase in compensation far quicker than the original plan. I also enjoyed the benefits package that cost much of nothing to cover myself and a child. Finally, Velocity is growing rapidly and shows every sign of having a thriving successful future.

-Training needs improvement -Work expectations could be more clearly defined for all employees at the beginning of hire -Lack of communication and understanding among the Carrier and Customer teams
