Company Recommendation - Anonymous employee Vendormate Employee Review

Company had strong leadership, dominant position in the market, great product leadership, culture was fun and flexible. Worked hard / played hard. Great communications from top leadership down to field. New ownership in GHX is committed to Vendormate.

Market is consolidating and the GHX acquisition means that there is a real player in the rep credentialing market which means change is afoot for both customers and vendors.

Great coworkers, monthly drink carts, relaxed schedule

This used to be a wonderful place to work, but has gone significantly downhill since the organization was acquired at the end of 2014/early 2015. The company was acquired by a company based in Colorado (GHX) and GHX truly does not care about the well-being of the legacy Vendormate employees. Upper management is very secretive and has promoted a very uncertain work environment. A place that used to be filled with lively conversations and laughter has been reduced to one of silence and unhappiness. ALSO Advanced degrees or pursuit of education is not rewarded, encouraged, or seen as a positive in regards to career mobility. If you are truly interested in advancing your career and/or your level of education, I would highly recommend finding another company.
