      Strong team atmosphere. Quality focused organization with strong support to each of its operational functions.

      Cons

      With the price of oil & gas in depressed state, Venoco has had to do what all other O&Gs are doing.....laying off personnel.

      There is always something new to learn and co-workers are like a second family. Great balance between work and personal life. Great benefits and incentives for employees to want to stay.

      Cons

      Wasn't able to advance within as quickly as I would have liked, due to no open opportunity.
