Pros

Goodie bags from Management during occasions (e.g. Christmas) No attire required

Cons

- Inflexible Working Schedule - Focus a lot on labour work due to the stocks (4x/week) - Zero benefits for employees (including staff discount) - Low Commission - Forging Expiry Date on unpopular products/brands (only get products with expiry date imprinted on it, not with stickers) - Outdated management policies - New hires' working experience will not be counted; I have a full-time new hire with 20 years of working experience in relevant industry had to get the same salary package as someone without any working experience.

Pros

No good things to say.

Cons

1. *Micromanagement*: Supervisors seem to be overly monitoring employees, which can create a lack of trust and a stressful atmosphere.  2. *Lack of Clear Protocols*: The absence of a consistent work protocol and the constant addition of new rules can lead to confusion and inefficiency.  3. *Insufficient Onboarding*: The employee booklet is not thoroughly explained, and employees are not given a copy, which could lead to a lack of understanding of company policies.  4. *Inadequate Training*: There is a lack of proper training for employees, with training seemingly reserved only for supervisors.  5. *High-Pressure Environment*: The fast-paced work environment, with the expectation to replenish stocks every three minutes, can be overwhelming and unsustainable.  6. *Unfair Practices During Stock Days*: The requirement to work quickly without rest on stock days can lead to burnout and is not conducive to a healthy work-life balance.  7. *Unjust Financial Responsibility*: Employees are required to pay for broken products, a policy that is not uniformly applied across all stores, leading to feelings of unfairness.  8. *Inconsistent Work Styles*: Different outlets have different work styles depending on the supervisor, which can create inconsistency and confusion.  9. *Poor Communication*: Communication is lacking unless employees actively seek it out, and there seems to be a negative reaction (black face) when employees take initiative. 10. *Negative Work Atmosphere*: Employees have to endure a negative atmosphere, as indicated by the "black face" comment, which can be demoralizing. 11. *Double Standards*: Part-time employees are not allowed to use their phones, while supervisors use theirs at the cashier and behind the store, indicating a double standard that can lead to resentment.
