Pros

Paid the bills, a couple of good people work here. Close to the freeway.

Cons

No teamwork, no collaboration with other departments, it is survival of the fittest. No training, no opportunities for growth/promotion. Network Security is unheard of, email accounts are always getting hacked, phone systems are always getting hacked, sales reps are all incompetent and throw each other under the bus, account reps are miserable and hide when customers complain. hosted specialists are overworked and under trained, management doesn't care about anything, C officers don't know what they're doing and most of them are sexist policy violators but that doesn't matter because HR punishes people who speak up. If you miss your High School days and lack ethics you will fit in fine here.

Pros

- PTO policy - up-to 16 hours per month. - Work-from-home ability - Mediocre work load, allowing for motivated employees to use paid time for education/training - Employee loyalty - Annual parties - Monthly lunches - Competitive health packages - Annual company trip for highest performers or contributors

Cons

- Holding onto noncontributing employees - Expectation of continual knowledge, but no formal education or training curriculum - Horrible camaraderie between most departments - Solely sales driven with no desire for R&D into better technologies. Anything that looks good on paper will be sold regardless of whether or not it can be supported long-term. - Salaries seem to be focused more toward keeping money in the board member's pockets than holding onto contributing employees - Per the CEO - "The Operations department is a sunk cost." Unless you plan to join the Sales team or Finance team expect to feel disconnected from upper management.
