Cons
When I first started, I learned that most of the oldest employees had only been there for 2 to 3 years. That should have been my first red flag. Everyone ends up leaving after a couple of months because of how unhinged management is. Each team is secretly planning and hoping for outside opportunities to leave this company. Management has a very archaic way of running things. Very European approach to the way of work. Management has a superiority complex and is completely incapable of recognizing their own wrongs. It is always the employee’s fault. This creates a work environment where you are constantly afraid of making a mistake because they will come at you. Because of it, the company is going nowhere. They absolutely want you to suck up to them, and they only value you if you overwork yourself. People have mentioned only starting to be spoken to kindly when they were staying late and working overtime. If you set healthy work boundaries, it is seen as if you are lazy and not helpful to the team. You get treated based on how they view your work, but they have unrealistic expectations for what is even possible to do in your role. Management in Montreal will be the downfall in this company.
