Fast pace work environment with many moving parts

Great location. Beautiful office. Comfy desks. Friendly coworkers.

Poor management. No HR department. People are overworked/underpaid. No benefits/perks. They hired you for one thing, and you end up doing ten more things (most likely for the same money). You may get a raise in a year after you load yourself up with tons of work. You constantly feel pressured and watched. You don't feel recognized for good work. Expensive insurance. No 401K. No retirement plan. No cell phone policy. You are not allowed to use your cell phone at your desk. They have a special place to hang your phone while you work. Good thing, you will be so loaded with work that you won’t have time to think about your phone. No internet access at your desk (only websites related to work). No wifi in the office. They are strongly against working remotely. Lunchtime 30 minutes/ not paid. So, you end up working 8,5 hours in total (9.30-6.00pm). Tricky salary (yearly salary). If you are overworked and you have to stay later, they won’t pay you more. But if you need 1-2 hours off (or simply being half an hour late), they will make sure to deduct it from your paycheck. So, no overtime payments. No yearly bonuses. Only five vacation days (no matter how many years you have worked with the company). They also give you 5-7 days for Christmas and New Year. It may all pay off if you are starting your career or your offered salary is more than you expected to get.
