      Pros

      I have worked at Vertex for 10 years and seen my career continue to grow. The benefits are very generous and the new building is very nice. Leaders and my co-workers are interested in me as an individual and I have never had anyone who was unwilling to help...including the CEO!

      The collaborative culture can sometimes slow things down and result in unclear accountability

      Pros

      - Valuable to have a job in this market, and somewhere that historically pays a market rate - unlimited PTO for fulltime

      Cons

      - New CEO is something...concerning. Workforce reduction, replacing C-suite with former pals from previous companies, huge push on AI without the subsequent reassurance that our jobs won't be replaced. Seems like the goal is for all of us to train AI to do our jobs before getting let go. Really tone deaf when us little people have livlihoods on the line.
