sales leadership is terrible from the upper tiers to the top. The guidance and training we get from them is terrible, even when we ask for help and assistance. If you ask your manager's manager, then you will be abused for being critical of one of the few favored by sales leadership. At the top, this system is actually the preferred way of doing things until you earn favor or as they say your stripes. The commission structure and incentive structure also favors the old guard and the sales leaderships favoritres, and watch for your sales leader to take credits for your efforts.
