Pros

Working as a video editor in a company allows you to collaborate with a team of editors, producers, and directors, which helps generate fresh ideas and improve your skills. You also get access to the latest professional software and equipment, enhancing the quality of your work and making it look more polished and professional.

Cons

Working as a video editor in a company can sometimes limit your creative control, as you may need to follow strict guidelines or meet specific client preferences, leaving less room for personal input. Additionally, tight deadlines and quick turnarounds are common, which can lead to long, stressful working hours as you strive to meet project timelines.

Pros

Good starting company as a video editor, You can work with a team + they also hold company parties and meetup events even when working from home. Some clients are nice and give tips. Added a lot of videos to my portfolio due to heavy workload. Paid Overtime.

Cons

Some clients are demanding. Overtime happens frequently due to heavy workload. Micromanaging issues with some team leads but not all of them.
