Pros
Honestly the only thing that is good here is the experience you get from working here. Absolutely no benefits at all. It’s very easy to get hired here and get hands on experience from this company that’s about all I can say for the “PROS”
Cons
I’ve been working here for 5 years and I’m so glad I’ve left this company for another install job. VVD does not treat their employees well. Mandatory 6 days and the pay isn’t so great considering we are based off of commission. I’ve noticed as the minimum wage increases I see the company balancing it out by giving us less commission. Trust me I’ve been here for 5 years and not a lot of people like working here or dealing with the managers, but they have to deal with it because that’s their only job. The managers are very rude and unappreciative . I never got promoted no matter how much hard work I did or how long I’ve worked there. Anything the bosses ask me to do I do it and I never was appreciated for my work. All they care about is how much the company profits or how many jobs you can complete. You will feel so belittled working here and have to deal with tons of stress for such little pay. If you don’t believe me you’ll have to work there and find out yourself. You’ll hate it, you will have no time to do other things in your life because you are working an easy 8-12 hours a day doing labor for minimum wage because the commission is not as great as it was before. All I can say is you can start here to get your experience and move onto another company you can potentially grow with. You just have to suck it up and deal with all the BS. Definitely do not recommend working here forever. I know a lot of the technicians now want better, but never say anything. I hope this review helps out for future employees and current employees.
