Pros

- Location - More stable than most like companies - Good health insurance

Cons

- Pay is fixed, no raises in over 4 years - Commissions are paltry and bonuses are nearly impossible to earn - Office atmosphere is negative and overly stressful - Training is lacking and not comprehensive - Insufficient sales training though that is a major part of the job and contributes to dismissal - Rules and procedures change frequently and are often not communicated to all staff in certain departments

Pros

Great company to work for. Benefits are great. Compensation is great. The owners and staff a very knowledgeable, kind and selfless. They have always had an open door policy and actually listen to any concerns you have and not brush you off. They always make us important and valued. We have team outings with all the staff, which is a great way to interact with everyone outside of work. Good changes that have benefited our guest and staff. They make all their decisions around the companies and their employees best interest. Good positive atmosphere to work.

Cons

Not much to mention, truly a great company with great people.

Pros

- Excellent Health Benefits - Stable work environment - Guaranteed hours - Hospitality specific perks

Cons

- Immediate management is bias and spiteful - Poor work atmosphere with managers discussing other employees in their absence, complaining openly about personal issues, and having "inside" conversations in a non-universally spoken language with certain employees in the presence of the entire team - Unrealistic goals - Little training and no sales training despite being reviewed and scored on sales performance - Changes in operations and procedures happen frequently and are not well-communicated. No standard method of delivering information to all employees (such as email, memo, etc.) - Upper management is aloof and has little to do with peripheral staff - Level of grading for reviews is not uniform and fluctuates from person to person. There is no standard by which to grade every person equally and without bias. - Preference is given to certain employees for holidays, work days, and regular days off (despite the job description mentioning no one gets preference) - Regular employees are delegated management/administrative duties without pay, recognition, or consideration for their regular work load - Managers frequently display an unprofessional demeanor by using inappropriate office language, gossiping about other employees, and sharing personal opinions of their own subordinates with other employees.
