Pros

Remote work, flexible hours, paid sick leave (even for casual employees), unlimited unpaid time off, never micro-managed.

Cons

There was no physical office, so if you don't like working remotely, it's not for you.

Pros

Having worked for a number of marketing agencies, Vine Street sets itself apart from the bunch by providing genuine care and attention to both clients and staff. Staff are supported through ongoing training and support, and a very healthy work-life balance. The team is very collaborative, and share their ideas and skills to ensure all accounts are thriving. Client satisfaction is paramount and this is ensured through highly skilled PPC specialists and thorough quality control. The owner Gemma works tirelessly to ensure staff are satisfied and up to date in skills and knowledge, which follows through to great results for clients. Gemma nurtures a positive, encouraging and empathetic environment for learning and success in the digital industry. This company is truly a diamond in the rough amongst so many high-churn agencies with no genuine care or passion outside of making a buck.

Cons

Client onboarding processes could be refined, but this was acknowledged and in the works at the time I left.

Pros

- You get to work from wherever you like in the world, often I would be working while traveling. - Great management, there's such a relaxed atmosphere about the whole thing and very understanding to any personal or professional issues. - Depending on how much work and for which clients you were working for, you had a lot of flexibility choosing your hours. -Great career development opportunities and chances to work in different areas around the company depending on your strengths and interests. -Constantly educated and supported, with opportunities to go to professional events and courses. -Working directly with upper management, more efficient problem solving. -Fantastic staff who are always helpful.

Cons

- Smaller company so smaller budget, not as many benefits as a large agency. - Timezone differences and some communication issues working remotely.
