Pros
- Company is growing very fast - Nice office
Cons
- Long work hours leading to burnout - People working 9-10 hours a day are taken aside and spoken to sternly on working too little - minimum 9 hour day is implied - No one leaves before 6pm - Generally negative Co-op term - Some rude senior management, rude comments during meetings - Culture is a "work is life" culture, the only way to survive here full time is to do very little outside of work it seems - Company is growing very fast, but can't seem to keep up with rate of growth - Infrastructure is terrible, tech is terrible, was given a terrible 3 year old laptop for 2 months that was incapable of much of anything where they expected as much work to be done as a Junior dev - Little to no work/life balance, though this depends on the team - QA/Dev has it the worse, long hours are expected during release/crunch time, but here, long hours are the norm - Changing infrastructure impedes progress, but is generally a positive thing. However, they do not account for this to cause a delay in dev - Compensation is on the low end - based on experience, but is not competitive - Must be very committed to what you are doing - Visier is not for everyone. Must be patient
