Pros
Gateway to the industry. Good for those just graduating from undergrad looking to take securities licensing exams at a small brokerage firm. But stay motivated and get out quick, don't become stuck working here. Move on to bigger and better things.
Cons
Management treats their employees like cattle. Benefits are sub par and salaries are way below industry averages. No raises for non-managerial employees within the past 2years despite new business. Borderline abusive practices by hiring interns, and paying them 11$ an hour to do full time work. Click-ish environment, seems more like a family business rather than being taken seriously based on merit. What a sad and disappointing experience. Managers only interact with their teams via email in most departments despite being literally two doors away and in the same physical vicinity. In other words, rarely any face-to-face conversations. Probably the worst job I've ever had.
