Pros
The company is currently based out of a WeWork co-working space which has benefits such as free breakfast Mondays and free beer on tap.
Cons
The only reason I'm writing this review is so that another person like me isn't tricked into taking a position at the company only to be lied to and set up for failure.
In job postings, VisitDays refers to itself as a very open and transparent organization. Unfortunately this could not be further from the truth. The CEO lies about anything and everything and this creates an extremely hostile and unstable environment. The organization is not transparent unless you are in management. It was made clear many times that those were the only opinions that mattered in the organization.
More than anything, what made working here unbearable was the way in which management treats their employees. For such a small company, there was absolutely no mentorship, training, or professional development. Benefits that were promised at time of hire never came to fruition (401k, paid health insurance). Management changed goals making them impossible to reach. Then employees were belittled, talked down to, and threatened for performing below the impossible standards. Management tried pitting employees against each other, telling them outright not to speak with certain team members. I have never experienced this level of manipulation in a professional setting.
The best way I can describe working at VisitDays - it was like being in a verbally and emotionally abusive relationship. I would not even recommend my worst enemy to apply for a job here.
