Pros

Working remotely - but I don't know anyone across the company even though we are small

Cons

This place isn't I thought it was going to be. The culture is pretty broken and while surveys are sent out each month, nothing is ever done to fix things. There's a lack of productivity and relationships are pretty poor. I would rather go into an office occasionally to feel some connection to people and the mission than what's happening now which is bulk emails and teams messages at all hours of the night sent by management. Internal processes are a mess across the business and need a lot of attention and due diligence. Will be actively looking for another job in the new year.

Pros

One of the things I enjoy about Visory is being treated like an adult. No micromanaging, no managers waiting to ding you for every misstep. They are open to ideas and allow me the freedom to do my job. And the flexibility to be creative within my job structure. They prize collaboration, and while sometimes it is frustrating because the collaboration seems to take forever, this also means your voice is heard. with this freedom comes expectations though. The expectation to perform is always there. I like it though. Nothing wrong with hard work, especially when your contributions are respected.

Cons

lean and mean company. there is a lot to do. always.
