Pros
The culture at VitusVet is amazing. There is a lot of trust between all employees which gives everyone the freedom to do their job without feeling micromanaged. We have a group of people who are able to reach out to their coworkers, management, all the way up to the CEO for help/advice. Quarterly meetings are held with management 1:1 to discuss goals and opportunity. I have always felt supported when setting my professional and personal goals. We are taught that our families come first and are encouraged to take time off when needed with the unlimited PTO we have. Management also like to organize virtual events which keep us a tight-knit group being remote. To name a few: murder mystery night/costume contest, chocolate tasting, superbowl pool. They also run cheers4peers which allows employees to feel valued and shows appreciation to our team. With this and the amazing products we have to help veterinary clinics and pet owners, it really is a company worth joining.
Cons
Usual startup pains. The company is growing and to get up to speed with customer growth new processes are put in place which need to be learned and actioned.
