Pros
Great Schedule. 7 days on 7 days off. You're going to love it or you'll hate it. I love it, especially when im off duty. Great base pay with overtime, paid holidays, bonuses, and vacation. Great insurance and a parking pass in downtown Denver. Fully stocked kitchen in a comfortable office. Military friendly. If you've ever done 4 section duty, relieved a watch, or communicated on a radio, you'll adapt and prosper here. There's a few of us, you're amongst friends. Great people. Awesome managers and coworkers. Nobody here will let you fail if you are trying to succeed. Upward Mobility. I started this job with 0 experience in an office, working with logistics, trucking, or even a strong experience in software. If you're humble, hard working and have a passion for helping others you will succeed here. I worked at a bar before this, ill never be considered "non essential" again.
Cons
7 days on and 7 days off. Long hours when on hitch, you will have to adapt youre lifestyle and sleeping habits. The job requires a lot of focus, if youre used to checking Facebook or reddit while working you're not going to find the time anymore until you get home. It's hard to get to know people you work with at first. Everyone is working hard and moving fast, it takes a while before you feel comfortable talking to people about anything that's not work related. There's alot to learn. Even if you have a background in Logistics, customer service, or trucking there are many apps, programs, and procedures you will need to learn to be productive, and it can feel overwhelming at times.
